16 Days / 15 Nights

Day 01 – Arrival Cairo

• Arrival at Cairo International Airport
• Transfer to the selected hotel and check-in
• Dinner and overnight at hotel in Cairo

Day 02 – Memphis – Saqqara – Dahshur

• Breakfast at hotel
• Drive to Memphis → visit Meet Raheena, museum, and other highlights of Memphis
• Continue to Saqqara (large necropolis of Memphis) → admire the Step Pyramid of Djoser (first pyramid ever built) (Optional: entrance to Zoser Pyramid at extra cost, Unas Pyramid, Mastaba of Ti, Imhotep Museum)
• Lunch at a first-class restaurant in the area
• Continue to Dahshur → entrance to Bent Pyramid and/or Red Pyramid
• Return to hotel
• Dinner and overnight at hotel in Cairo

Day 03 – Giza Pyramids – Sphinx – Grand Egyptian Museum

• Breakfast at hotel
• Full day tour to the famous Great Pyramids and the mysterious Great Sphinx
• Entrance inside the Pyramid of Cheops
• Continue to the Grand Egyptian Museum (housing the most magnificent treasures of Tutankhamun)
• Dinner and overnight at hotel in Cairo

Day 04 – Egyptian Civilization Museum – Coptic Cairo – Khan El Khalili

• Breakfast at hotel
• Day tour to the Egyptian Civilization Museum (where most mummies were transferred from the old museum)
• Continue to Old (Coptic) Cairo:
  • Hanging Church
  • St. Sergius Church
  • Ben Ezra Synagogue
• Visit Monastery of St. Simeon – Al-Kharraz at Moqattam Mountain
• Ramble through the famous Khan El Khalili Bazaars
• Dinner and overnight at hotel in Cairo

Day 05 – Wadi Natrun Monasteries – Alexandria

• Breakfast at hotel
• Meeting before departure to Wadi Natrun
• Visit:
  • Monastery of Saint Bishoy (Deir Anba Bishoi)
  • Monastery of the Syrians (Deir El Sourian)
  • Monastery of Saint Macarius (Deir Abu Makar)
  • Monastery of the Romans (Deir Al Baramous)
• Continue drive to Alexandria
• Arrive Alexandria and check-in at Paradise Inn Maamora Hotel (or similar)
• Dinner and overnight in Alexandria

Day 06 – Alexandria Highlights

  • Catacombs of Kom El Shoqafa

• Lunch at a fish restaurant
• Visit Citadel of Qaitbay (from outside)

Day 07 – Alexandria Churches – Flight to Aswan

• Visit the Coptic Cathedral of St. Mark

• Drive to Cairo Airport for your flight to Aswan
• Arrive Aswan Airport → transfer to the selected hotel
