EGYPT: Stop Over 

4 Days – 3 Nights

Day 01: Arrival in Cairo – Welcome & Check-in

Arrival at Cairo International Airport – meet your guide and driver

you will be met at the Cairo Airport your escort will give you your visa, assist with immigration, luggage and customs, and then take you to your hotel. (Overnight in Cairo).

Day 02: Cairo – Giza Pyramids-Sphinx-  New Egyptian Grand Museum

Breakfast at hotel.  Full day tour to Giza to visit the Great Pyramid of Cheops which was built by manual labor. It is the largest of the three main Pyramids and it is the only survivor of the Seven Great Wonders of the Ancient World, the Pyramid of Chephren, which is the best preserved, and the Pyramid of Mycerinus. Nearby see the Sphinx, a marvelous sight carved out of a natural rocky outcrop, the lion’s body stretching 45m, with its paws 15m long.  Lunch at local restaurant. Learn how paper was made in the ancient times with a visit to the Papyrus Institute followed by a short visit to a Perfumery workshop.  Continue to the famous Egyptian Grand Mesuem

Egyptian new Grand Mesuem : Museum with its 100,000 objects covering 4,000 years of ancient Egyptian civilization, including the treasures of Tutankhamen. Overnight in Cairo

Dinner and overnight in Cairo

Day 03: Citadel of Salaadin-Mohamed Ali Mousque – Al Azhar and Khan Al Khalili – Abu Serga Church

Breakfast at the hotel.

Depart for a half-day guided tour of Cairo’s iconic Islamic landmarks. Visit the Citadel of Saladin and the stunning Muhammad Ali Mosque (also known as the Alabaster Mosque), followed by Amr ibn al-As Mosque (Egypt’s oldest mosque), Hussein Mosque, and Al-Azhar Mosque., and visit the church of Abu Serga for the holly family where they stayed and where they were drinking during the holly family trip to Egypt. 

Continue to the historic Khan El Khalili Bazaar, one of the oldest and most famous markets in the Middle East, where you can explore its vibrant souks, shops, and cafés. Lunch will be enjoyed at a local restaurant in the area.

Return to your hotel in the afternoon.

Day 04: Departure Day

Breakfast at hotel

Breakfast at hotel. You will be transferred to Cairo Airport for final departure.
