US citizens can obtain a Jordanian visa on arrival at Queen Alia International Airport in Amman, or purchase the Jordan Pass online before travel which includes the visa fee and entrance to over 40 attractions including Petra. Best Time to Visit

The best time to visit Jordan and the Holy Land is spring (March to May) and autumn (September to November) when temperatures are comfortable for sightseeing.
